How Did Musk Get Rich?

The founder and CEO of PayPal, Travis Perry, was once at the center of a very dirty controversy. It started with a dispute over the valuation of PayPal. When the company was sold to PayPal, some valued it far too high.

Musk, who was deeply involved in the business, took issue with the value and eventually got the company sold to the much more financially stable EBay.

How Did Musk Get Rich? Once he founded both PayPal and Tesla, he obviously had plenty of money to work with. By starting both companies in the same geographical location, they both have access to the same low-cost energy sources. Both businesses have also done well against their competition in the technology industry.

So How Did Musk Get Rich? He could have taken all of the equity positions of both PayPal and Tesla when they were initially listed. This would have given him the opportunity to maximize his profits. But he didn’t do this and he certainly didn’t use the money he had to bankroll both companies.

The only other way he could have done this would be to start up one of these companies from scratch. In order to do that he would need a large amount of capital. And he certainly didn’t have it. So like most people who are just getting started, he started out working only part time and spending whatever money he had on the business. And it worked out pretty good for him.

But once again, we are left asking, how did he get wealthy doing this? There is no sure way of knowing how he did it. What we do know is that he took a risk. And he made more money than he spent. His success has allowed him to do many other things.

You should never discount this. People fail because they choose the wrong business or they fail to execute their plan. They just didn’t think big. They didn’t realize that the internet was an untapped gold mine and they jumped on the first company that came along.

But what they didn’t know was that there are a number of other businesses available that could have been successful but for a few small things that they overlooked.

Again, we’re not exactly sure. But he seems to have had a vision and he took the bull by the horns. He may have had the initial investment to start up one of these companies but in order to make it grow and reach its full potential, many other things had to be invested along the way.

It is possible that he could have made money with that initial investment alone, but if he hadn’t taken the bull by the horns, things may have been much different.

The answer to that question depends on whom you ask. But for some, the answer might just be to do what they do best, to work with computers. Others will say that it’s a matter of chance and that it was simply a matter of when he took that first step. But for those who believe that it was a matter of destiny, of course they would say that he truly was born rich.

There are many others who believe that luck was involved but that it wasn’t his imagination. Still others will point out that when you put lots of numbers together and then work with the numbers, it looks very logical and it happens so that they don’t have to question it any longer. And then there are those who will claim that it’s all been a big joke and that he really hasn’t done anything noteworthy. It all depends on who you talk to.

For those who have done their research and still have doubts, they might want to consider answering the question with, “How Did Bill Gates Get Rich?” or “Why Didn’t Steve Jobs Have the Bad Boy Gene?”

The answers will most likely be different for those who ask these types of questions, but the main points still apply no matter which group you belong to.

Opportunity is found in all kinds of places and it just takes persistence to find it and pursue it. In fact, if you look at some of the richest people in history, you’ll find that they all had something in common, they all took chances and they worked very hard and disciplined themselves to achieve their goals.
